Ladies Night ~ Matrak

I attended a ladies night on Friday night which basically translates to a female only entertainment night with dancing, competitions, food and great company. There were heaps of people there and so many beautifully dressed women but I only managed to snap a few pictures! I was so annoyed I couldn't get more for you. Well what I do have is quality so enjoy the pictures and make sure to comment :)

Here I am wearing another Jhorna creation. It was a total hit on the night with numerous people asking me where I got it from. If you are interested in some stunning hijab accessories head over to FB and add this account

You can also wear a bib necklace if you wear your hijab like I did here. Basically it gives you zero chest coverage so bear in mind it will really only be suitable for ladies only events or if you are wearing a loose top.

Flowy + Peg Leg

I have been told these pants make me look bigger then I am but I really don't care as they are the most comfortable pair of pants I own. I teamed them with my Estilo Emporio leather heels from In Her Shoes Boutique and a flowy chiffon blouse. My hijab is a recent purchase from a local hijab store that stocks imported hijabs from Turkey. Hijab Pin from Glitz Craft last seen here.
P.s Please don't forget my competition guys! Please click on the competition tab above for more details!!

Brunswick Festival

Brusnwick is one of my favourite place in Melbourne. In my youth it was a place my parents frequented to do their fruit/veg meat shopping but as the years progressed it soon became a fashion haven with tiny boutiques hidden in little nooks selling big brands such as Philip Lim and Miu Miu. The entire street doesnt look like much but there are a multitude of small businesses that cater to the Australian crowd by designing and producing their own fashion line right here in Australia. Brunswick is also the home of my favourite cafe so I am in this suburb pretty much every week. If I were ever made to move suburbs Brunswick would definitely be the only place I would move to.
On the weekend there was another festival in this gorgeous area so of course my sisters and I had to attend. There were the usual stalls and food stalls available but the main attraction for me was the atmosphere and a nice hot flat white.

Product Review ~ Work Wear with HalfTee

Have you ever seen a dress where you instantly fell in love with the cut, style, or fabric but then deflate when you notice the sleeves are short? Well this has happened to me countless of times and I have to say I have often walked away without making a purchase. I really hate layering long tops under dresses as it keeps me too hot and uncomfortable (plus I hate the added bulk eww) When I received an email from HalfTee asking me if I could try out her half tee tops I was over the moon to say the least. I have been looking for something like this product for such a long time but could not find anything even close!

I chose to review the Turtleneck Long Sleeve Half Tee which is basically a long sleeve top that is cut off just below the bust. It is made of 90% cotton and 10% spandex (so there wont be any gross over sweating) in the the colours black and white.

I chose size medium based on their size chart and it was a perfect fit. I loved the fabric, it was perfect for an under top as it had excellent stretch and was breathable. I wore it at work all day and honestly forgot I was even wearing anything underneath my dress. It fit so well it literally felt like I was wearing nothing. There was no riding up (as long tops often do) no twisting and turning and was completely adjustment-free.

Honestly it is probably the most practical and must have hijabi item I have reviewed in a long time. This item is so awesome that now I wish I had all the colours to play with!
They have a multitude of fabrics and styles to choose from and at competitive rates! You cannot go wrong! Head on over to HalfTee and have a look at their large selection and tell them Hijab Revival sent you!!

P.s keep your eyes on Hijab Revival as I will be wearing the white half tee with a gorgeous jalabiya soon!!
